Introducing Adam

Yesterday, we were united with a wonderful toad which we quickly deemed as "Adam". Adam is a small, rather quiet toad, he is subdued but still aware and curious about his surroundings. We placed fresh plants in his terrarium and a shallow dish of water. He seemed to enjoy sitting in the water as well as jumping on top of the artificial plants we gave him.

We thought the name Adam was interesting and it reminded us of the first man (Adam) to whom God gave the task of naming all the animals on the earth.
Genesis 2:19,20
And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field;
